POST SURGICAL REHABILITATION
To achieve the optimal outcome from your upcoming orthopaedic surgery, it is often recommended that Physiotherapy intervention commences prior to surgery (Prehab). By preparing your body prior for surgery you can maximise your range of movement, strength& fitness going into the procedure. The Physiotherapist will also educate you on what is expected following surgery and familiarise you with the post-surgery exercises & any mobility aids or equipment required. Following surgery, the Physiotherapist will assess your strength and function and design an individual rehabilitation programme to facilitate a smooth and timely recovery.
